Mathews joined HSBC UK in 2016 and has worked in various departments within Intermediary Mortgages including Broker support, BDM support and the High Value Mortgage Service team. Mathews has in-depth knowledge of the mortgage application process and HSBC UK mortgage criteria, which helps him to deliver a great service to our brokers.
Outside of work Mathews loves to travel – India being a firm favourite destination as he loves to immerse himself in the rich culture and history.
He also loves getting on his motor bike and riding through country roads on a nice sunny day, and enjoys walking on a cold morning when the air is crisp and the streets are quiet – a peaceful and refreshing way to connect with a place.
